IC-V82 / IC-U82
144MHz VHF FM Transceiver
Optional digital unit, UT-118
The optional UT-118 provides D-STAR format digital voice and slow data communiation. The UT-118 includes the following digital features.
Callsign calling
In the digital mode, your callsign and the receiving callsign (or CQ message) are included in each transmission. The callsign squelch allows you to choose an incoming call selected by the callsign. Also, received callsigns are automatically stored in the memory.
Position exchange with external GPS receiver
When connected to an external GPS receiver*, position information can be exchanged with other stations. When the receiving side is connected to a PC**, position monitoring is possible.

200 memory channels and 10 memory banks
Up to 200 regular memory channels can be stored with a 6-character channel name, tone and duplex settings. The memory channels can be tagged with A-J bank name and allows you easy channel management. In addition, use Icom’s exclusive DMS (Dynamic Memory Scan) system to scan selected memory banks by simply adding and deleting blank links.
Built-in CTCSS/DTCS
Built-in CTCSS/DTCS tone codes provide quiet stand-by and allow you to access a closed repeater. The pocket beep alerts you when a matched tone frequency is received. The tone scan detects the tone frequency used in the receiving frequency.

16 Button Keypad for Easy-to-access Functions
The function guidance is labeled on the 16 buttons. It's easy to manage all of the functions equipped on the IC-V8 by pushing the Function key and shortcut keys. In addition, a channel number or an operating frequency can be entered from the keypad directly.
Powerful 5.5W of Output Power
The V8 Sport does not come with a battery pack. It also comes with a case for AA Alkaline batteries.
Reversible Up/Down Switches and Rotary Selector
Channel selection, volume and squelch functions can be assigned to either the up/down switches or to the rotary selector.
5-character alphanumeric display
Letters and numeral character names provide easy recognition of each channel. S-meter, output power, power save, keylock, tone and duplex setting icons show various operating status at glance.
100 Memory Channels and One Call Channel
Up to 100 of your favorite frequency settings (including channel name, tone, output power and repeater offset) can be stored in the memory. Furthermore, one call channel provides one touch channel access for a frequently used frequency.
CTCSS and DTCS Operation Standard
50 CTCSS and 104×2 DTCS tone squelch operation codes (encode and decode) provide quiet standby and allow you repeater access. A pocket beep alerts you of a call and a tone scan can detect the sub-audible tone in use in the receiving signals.
Standard DTMF Encoder and Optional DTMF Decoder
5 DTMF memory channels with up to 24 DTMF codes allow remote operation. The optional UT-108 DTMF decoder unit provides code squelch operation as well as a pager function.

While the IC-V85 provides a full 7 watts of output power, its 110mm* body height is compact enough to allow for easy carrying.

Let the power of 7 watts extend your communications range. With its large capacity Lithium-Ion battery pack, BP-227, the IC-V85/E provides a practical 7 hours* of operating time. Reduced power (4W/0.5W) settings are also available for even longer operating time.

External DC power jack
An external DC power jack allows for operation when used with the external DC power supply (11.0V DC).
Your IC-V85/E receives and transmits as it charges.
Water resistant construction
The water resistant construction, equivalent to IPX4 rating, provides reliable operation in wet conditions for practical outdoor usage.
107 memory channels and 10 memory banks
Up to 107 memory channels can be stored. Use the 5-character display capabilities to assign your own individual channel names, then store those channels in any of the 10 memory banks. The DMS (Dynamic Memory Scan) system allows you to scan selected memory banks by simply adding and deleting bank links.

VHF/UHF Dual Band Transceiver
Switchable VHF/UHF dual bander
The IC-80AD provides VHF/UHF dual band capabilities (one band at a time) via a simple band switching system.
Wideband receiver
The IC-80AD has a wideband receiver as a standard feature and covers 0.495-999.99MHz. *Listen to aviation, marine, weather channels and other utility communications*.

CS-80/880 free download cloning software
The CS-80/880 free download cloning software is available from the Icom web site. Used with this software, various settings can be made from a PC and the memory channels and other settings can be shared between IC-80AD and its matching mobile unit, the ID-880H. Please download from http://www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/firm/.
*Either OPC-1529R, OPC-478 or OPC-478UC optional cable is required.
1052 memory channels
The IC-80AD has a total of 1052 memory channels (including 1000 regular channels, 50 scan edges and 2 call channels) with 26 memory banks. All memory channels and the program scan can be named with 8-character channel comments. Also each memory bank can be named with a up0to 6 -character bank name comment.

Built-in CTCSS/DTCS encoder and decoder
Built-in CTCSS and DTCS tones are used for accessing a closed repeater or tone squelch operation. The pocket beep alerts you with a beep sound when the transceiver receives a preset tone. 1750Hz tone is also available.
Optional GPS speaker-microphone, HM-189GPS
When used with the new GPS speaker-microphone, HM-189GPS, the IC-80AD shows your position data on the display and offers a position reporting function in DV mode. The IC-80AD shows the direction to a memory position or to a received D-STAR station.
5 Watts (typical) output
The IC-80AD provides 5W (typical) output power both in VHF/UHF bands. The supplied BP-217 provides up to 6 hours* of operating time. When you don't need full power operation, you can reduce output power to 2.5/0.5/0.1W (typ.) for saving battery consumption

External DC power jack
An external DC power jack allows for operation with an external DC power supply (10-16VA DC). When used with the DC power cable simultaneously operation during charging is possible.

VHF/UHF Dual Band Transceiver
Wide band receiver with dualwatch capability
The IC-91AD/A has dualwatch receiver capability, allowing you to receive* two bands simultaneously (including same band). By pushing and holding the [Main/Dual] button, you can easily turn dualwatch on and off, while a press of the button allows you to toggle the active VFO channels.

Large dot-matrix LCD
Using a large full dot-matrix LCD (37.8×20mm; 11/2×25/32 in), the IC-91AD/A clearly shows two-line frequency settings, alphanumeric channel name, bandscope, etc. You can choose large or small font size in the setting mode. In addition, automatic LCD and keypad backlighting provides bright illumination for night time operation.
Simple bandscope
Spectrum activity is displayed on the screen and audio is heard while sweeping the range. It is useful for finding new or interfering signals.
5 Watts (typical) output
Icom’s original wideband PA circuit and supplied lithium-ion battery pack provides 5W (typ.) output. The supplied BP-217 provides up to 5/4.5 hours* of operating time and greatly reduces both the size and weight needed to obtain full output power.

VHF/UHF Dual Band Transceiver
Rugged Submersible Protection
The IC-92AD and HM-175GPS have superior waterproof protection and is equivalent to IPX7 (1m depth of underwater for 30 minutes). The aluminum diecast chassis and gasketsealed housing provide performance you can count on in harsh outdoor environments; when hiking, mountain biking, touring and for alpine activities.
Optional GPS Speaker-microphone
Used with the GPS speaker-microphone, HM-175GPS, the IC-92AD shows your position data on the display and offers automatic position reporting in DV mode. The IC-92AD shows the direction to a received D-STAR station or to a memory stored with a compass-like display pointer. In addition, the GPS-A mode assists in easy D-PRS system operation.
Wideband receiver with dualwatch capability
The IC-92AD has dualwatch receiver capability, allowing you to receive* on two bands simultaneously (including the same band). By pushing and holding the [Main/Dual] button, you can easily turn dualwatch on and off, while a single press toggles the active VFO channels (A band/B band).

5 Watts (typical) output
Icoms original wideband PA circuit and supplied lithium-ion battery pack provides 5W (typ.) output power on both VHF and UHF bands. The supplied BP-256 provides up to 6/5.5 hours* of operating time. When you dont need full power operation, you can reduce output power to 2.5/0.5/0.1W (typ.) to reduce battery consumption.
Simple bandscope
Simple bandscope Spectrum activity is displayed on the screen and audio is heard while sweeping. The bandscope is useful for finding new or interfering signals.
Built-in voice recorder function
The built-in voice recorder* records an incoming call for up to 30-seconds (approx.), (or 15 sec. × 2 tracks, 10 sec. × 3 tracks). For automated outgoing calls, you can pre-record up to 10 seconds of your callsign and/or CQ message in the IC-92ADs voice memory.

A simple operation
A simple band switching system, single push action and thumb-touch lock switches make operation straight-forward and convenient — even for beginners. Additionally, channel indication mode simplifies operation even further and is great for when operating in a group situation.
Built-in tone squelch system
A separate CTCSS tone encoder and CTCSS tone encoder/decoder are standard (38 standard EIA tones and 12 others for even quieter standby). Full programmable band scans and all/band select memory scans provide versatile signal searching. IC-T90A
VHF / UHF Multiband FM Transceiver
Surprisingly Compact, Full Featured Tri-Bander with Wideband Receiver
Wideband receiver - 495kHz to 999.990MHz
The commercial grade IC-T90A transceiver offers a wideband AM, FM, and WFM scanning receiver. Not only you can hear your favorite TV programs with the pre-programmed TV memories, but also you can listen to shortwave, AM and FM broadcast radio stations with good sound quality. Fire, aircraft and various amateur bands also can be tuned.
DMS (Dynamic Memory Scan) bank scanning
With 555 alphanumeric memory channels, including 50 band edges and 5 call channels, Icom's DMS technology gives you flexible scanning lists. With a maximum of 18 banks or 100 channels per bank,
you can pick and choose the desired channel for scanning from the 500 memories.
Lithium-Ion technology
Enjoy a full 5 watts from the supplied 1300mAh Lithium-Ion battery pack, BP-217. Along with the energy conserving settings, the BP-217 provides up to 5 to 6 hours* of operating time and greatly reduces both the size and weight needed to get full output power. Just recharge and go!

DTCS and CTCSS tone squelch
A standard feature of the IC-T90A is both DTCS and CTCSS encode and decode capability. Choose from either 104 DTCS or 50 CTCSS codes for receive and transmit, individually. In addition, a pocket beep function gives you an audio alert when a matched tone signal is received__a great feature for quiet, group operations.
Simple operation
Simple, one-handed operation is the most valuable feature of the IC-T90A. The backlit ten-key pad allows you to enter frequency, memory number and set various other features. The tuning knob can be customized for either channel selection, or volume control.
